Waking up on a lazy Sunday afternoon morning and suddenly... I want to have English Breakfast!

BUT I'm too lazy to travel to anywhere too far. And usually at this kind of moment, we always have our heartland mall to depend on! And so sis and me roam around and we saw this....

Not only we could have breakfast, we could have their lovely latte too! <3

Sis got her favorite classic latte, whereas me got myself this lovely Topical Passion Tea Latte... 

If you want to try something new from the usual latte, try this.. It will leave a light passion fruit taste on your taste bud . =P

 Sis ordered a Turkey Bacon Set , and Mine, The Ultimate Breakfast... (Wahaha)

Ultimate Breakfast $11.90

The Ultimate Breakfast comes with scramble eggs, two chicken sausage, beef patty, turkey bacon and fresh salad.. and a drink (coffee or tea) for $11.90. you can actually change the drinks to any drinks on the menu but with a small fee.
It's so delightful to have our tummy filled without traveling so far away.. ~<3

It is a huge challenge to blog about food when eating with my family! They are all so ready to attack! :)
Crystal Jade actually serve alright dim sum, but there's alot of better ones out there.
Good enough to satisfied cravings.

Jones the Grocer @ Dempsey

Jones the Grocer is definitely one of my top list for a chill out coffee place. Located at a quiet cosy corner in dempsey, Jones provide  EXCELLENT coffee and of cos the BIG plus point? NO SERVICE CHARGE.
At the same time while you are sipping the lovely coffee, you can do some top quality grocery shopping! Cheese/oil/sugar/tea/cheese/pasta/wine and alot more! But do remember good stuff comes along with pretty price tag!

And so 4 ducklings decided to go for coffee at 11pm happily!

We had a crazy time laughing and going high on caffeine. 

Iced Mudslide coffee $7

So Kenneth ordered iced hazelnut coffee, Rebecca ordered iced black forest coffee and i ordered a iced mudslide coffee. All 3 looked exactly the same and it was SO good! The ice cream on top is the magic of the coffee. 

My Favorite among all 3 is the hazelnut coffee. Big love!

Mah Jong Fruit Blush infusion $5.50 

Xing finally ordered Mah Jong Fruit Blush infusion after a long long time because they got such a huge list of different blend of tea and all of them look so good!

I can't stop laughing when Kenneth ordered this, it got such a cute name!

And the verdict? Refreshing! 

Don't get scared off by the color, it's a interesting blend! 

The cinnamon actually blend in perfectly with the fruity tea.

So good, it's not enough, I WANT TO GO AGAIN!

3 Big cup of Iced coffee and 1 big pot of tea and we paid $26.50. 

Definitely value for money! I LIKE!!!

It's Kenneth birthday and we are going to surprise him!
Top things to do: buy a cake!
Are we just gonna buy a cake just from anywhere? NO!
So Xing got this idea of designing a candy crush cake for Kenneth since all of us hate love candy crush!

Icing room have been around since 2008 but we never ever got a chance to try it out, so today is the day! Icing room is a cake shop that offers Design-It-Yourself (DIY) cake decorative services! They provide u with a white beautiful cake and 5 little pipes of colorful cream/chocolate/jam and a little bag of sugar flower.

We get to be a wannabe baker for a short while! :)

*I never thought shopping for candy is so tedious!*

Stuttgart Blackforest Boutique S-Café

Stuttgart Blackforest Boutique S-Café is a relatively new cafe located at middle road. They are actually a retail showcase for products imported from Stuttgart. They have lots of beer, wine and other stuff with description in Stuttgart language.
I found out about this cafe from my mum, She told me there's a a new shop selling vintage furniture. -_-*.
End up it's a really interesting cafe with lots of cuckoo clock and nutcracker.
So Xing and Me decided to finish work early and go for a food haunt!

I Swear i felt a bit tipsy after a slice 

The alcohol content was too overwhelming for us

Tony Roma's - More Than Great Ribs!

Xing and Me is out on a food haunt ! 

This time round we decided that we should be more disciplined with our self and not over order! 

Baked Potato Soup $6.90

Rich, creamy and loaded with real baked potatoes and topped 

with Cheddar cheese, bacon and green onions.

One of the best potato soup i have even had! 

It is SO SO GOOD!

Mushroom Soup $6.90

A trio of appetizers — spicy BBQ Boneless Bites, spinach 

artichoke dip and our signature half onion loaf served with 

dipping sauces.

We was surprised! 

Our Starters is enough to feed the 2 gigantic appetite duckling!

And since it's sampler, the picture above is half the amount that it's supposed to be!

SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP

Creamy spinach blended with a mix of cheeses and artichoke 

hearts. served with tortilla chips, sour cream and salsa

The Artichoke dip is heavenly! I LOVE it! 

I was very close to licking the bowl clean!

ONION LOAF

Giant hand-cut onions, breaded, deep fried and served with 

 BBQ sauce.

The Onion ring is also another must have item!

BONELESS BITES

Tender breaded chicken, fried and tossed in Carolina honeys 

or spicy BBQ sauce. 

 

THE ORIGINAL BABY BACK RIBS $33.90 

Tender, lean pork loin meat, basted with Tony Roma’s 

original BBQ sauce.

We end up eating 4 person share. Haiz... 

But it was so irresistible ~ So GOOD!

Although the price is a bit expensive but the portion make up for it's value.
